Jan Haun, affiliated with Van Newkirk Real Estate, was elected by fellow colleagues as the 2006 REALTOR of the Year with the Scottsbluff County Board of Realtors. She has been selling real estate and providing real estate services to the Western Nebraska area for the last 10 years. In 2004, Jan received her broker's license to better serve her clients.
Jan and her husband, David, who is active in agriculture, is also a real estate salesperson, David assists Jan when and where needed. She lived in Scottsbluff area for the last 33 years raising their two children, Andrew and Abby. Andrew lives in Houston and works for Gallup Inc. Abby, recently married, lives in Lincoln and is a real estate salesperson for Woods Brothers Realty.
Jan served as Vice President and numerous other positions on the Scottsbluff County Board of Realtors, including past chairman of the MLS Committee and the Regional Professional Standards Committee. Jan has always been involved in many community programs... she has been a loan executive for United Way for the past five years and served as a leader for local 4-H activities.
